Bio:
François Thill received 1991 a M.Sc. degree in information technology at the University of Linz, Austria. After 10 years of international banking experience, he has joined the Ministry of the Economy and Foreign Trade in Luxembourg in 2001. He is responsible for several security related projects within government and is head of CASES. He represents Luxembourg in the European Network and Information Security Agency (ENISA). François is also board member of the Luxembourg PKI LuxTrust and president of Security Made in Lëtzebuerg (SMILE) GIE.


Lessons learned from teaching ICT security in schools; don't let them suffer in silence

Abstract:
The presentation deals with cyber delinquency amongst children, things they do without thinking about consequences. Aspects from cyber-bullying to spying from defamation to production of pornography will be covered and discussed.
